Armetria Coasey’s path to motherhood was anything but conventional. When she gave birth to her son, Isaiah, at just 29 weeks and 6 days, weighing only 1 pound and 11 ounces, she entered a world of hospital corridors, beeping machines, and relentless uncertainty. Isaiah’s nine-month battle for survival was a testament to his resilience, and for Armetria, it was a journey that would redefine her purpose.
As a first-time mother, she navigated uncharted territory, finding strength in faith and determination. Each moment spent with Isaiah reinforced her belief in the power of love and perseverance. Instead of focusing on the challenges, she chose to bring joy into their days, refusing to let fear dictate their journey.
Her life became a series of sacrifices and adjustments. With numerous doctor’s appointments, therapies, and medical procedures, maintaining a traditional job was impossible. Instead, she leaned on faith and the support of close family members, never losing sight of the bigger picture.
At two years old, Isaiah was diagnosed with autism. Initially, the diagnosis was difficult to accept, layered with the complexities of his premature birth. But when a medical provider framed autism as a social disorder rather than a limitation, Armetria found clarity. She chose to focus on Isaiah’s capabilities rather than his challenges.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. – Jeremiah 29:11
Today, Isaiah continues to defy expectations, surpassing milestones and proving that a diagnosis does not define a child’s future. Armetria stands as his fiercest advocate, ensuring that he has every opportunity to thrive. Her story is a testament to the power of faith, resilience, and a mother’s love. Through her journey, she inspires others to embrace hope, trust the process, and believe in the boundless potential of every child.
